I, kelie bowman, am involved in this amazing project called Boatel. It is in Jamaica Bay at Marina 59 in Far Rockaway. I got an art residency to turn this boat into my own art installation. During the summer months people can book a night on one of the boats. There are 16 boats, thus 16 artists working, all of the projects I am excited about in different ways. I think it is really a special project and one of those projects that help make new york a special place to live. My boat is called Sea Wolf. Here she is before I started working on her.
