Kyle Field’s work has evolved from notebook cover style psychedelic drawings during classroom lectures at UCLA to full color exuberant and vibrant ink and watercolor drawings. His subject matter spans from fantasy to abstract, often using stereotypes of his fellow Californians as inspiration. Color, context and authenticity are highly considered and some drawings are even made intentionally naive, obsessing over the mark, and it’s authenticity.

Field’s work has been shown internationally and was recently featured as cover art for a Grateful Dead record store day vinyl release. Field continues also to record and perform under the name Little Wings, since 1998.
